Friendships in the BL/GL world are mostly described by the warm, fuzzy feelings that we relate to when the main leads have supportive friends. People who stand by them through thick and thin, to tide them over. Although this relationship is underrated, often it’s the “Friend’s Gang” that drive the narrative forward. They are straightforward, offer undulating advice and variable perspectives. In today’s feature, we will be exploring such intriguing friendships, the ones that spoke to us in their own unique ways!
Since we are always talking about our favorites, today’s feature would be focusing on the non favorites; dramas that left us shaking our heads in disbelief or shock. Mostly quantity precedes quality in the Boys’ Love world and there is no escaping the fact that most dramas seem lacking in terms of storytelling or casting. Join us, as our authors take stock of shows that were a major disappointment.

From the first scene itself, I was hooked on to the grand vibe that was reminiscent of a fairy tale, and after the two episodes, it seems that they are playing more and more into the trope of the outwardly aloof yet warm-hearted princely character in Hia Lian.
My watch list is overflowing with BL dramas. This is a statement that I never thought would be feasible.
