Dialogue is a lean language in which every word counts-Sol Stein
“There is a madness in loving you, a lack of reason that makes it feel so flawless.”— Leo Christopher
While most BL tropes might sound overused or cliche, it’s obvious that they form the very foundation for a storyline.
“Music is the language of the spirit. It opens the secret of life bringing peace, abolishing strife”- Kahlil Gibran
Music is a powerful thing. Many of us have entire playlists that carry us through different moments in our lives. From heartbreak and grief to romance and joy, music has an incredible way of adding intensity to everyday life.
IT’S BEEN A YEAR!!!
Approximately 5 minutes after I finished watching the finale of Bad Buddy (my sister and I had an unspoken rule to only watch it late at night after the rest of our family had fallen asleep so as to not let anyone and anything disturb the bliss of watching each episode), I tweeted this- “Please excuse me while I cry about #BadBuddySeriesตอนจบ the whole night and figure out how high it’s come on my favourite BL’s list”.
One of the most interesting things about watching Bad Buddy the Series or BBS has been seeing how its fandom grew from ‘oh this series looks interesting’ to ‘they did what?!’, finally culminating in ‘omg greatest series ever’ over the course of its twelve episodes. As to what I thought, well, that’s what this review is for.
Bad Buddy is a Romeo and Juliet-esque BL, about Pat and Pran, next-door neighbours, whose parents have decades long enmity.
Physical intimacy and understanding define most healthy relationships; BL couples are no different.
