As against his earlier demure portrayal of Wayu in 2moons2, Earth’s Kimman seems like a strict officer as he takes on the mantle of playing the student’s union member. Fluk Chatchawan’s Mek on the other hand is a content creator/menace who loves to act against rules and regulations. Check Out The Series

Another show that has been in the pipeline for ages. Starring Chahub Marut and Best Vittawin in the lead roles, Check Out isn’t their first show together. Chahub and Best portrayed the role of best friends in “Skinship S1 & 2”. People were so taken with their chemistry (even though they weren’t paired together), that the production house was met with demands to cast them together in a new series. That’s how “Check Out The Series” materialized. While Chahub is relatively new to the BL genre, Best is already a veteran having starred in various BL shows like I Am Your King, Love by Chance, Until We Meet Again and the recently concluded Love With Benefits. 9NAA Productions has been actively promoting the show, which is set to premiere on 11th Jun, 2022 on Amarin TV (international platform not yet revealed).

Nine and Daonuea are traveling solo, one after breaking up with his girlfriend, the other after a disappointment in love. They accidentally find themselves sharing adjoining rooms and gradually get to know each other.

Japanese BL

Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!: The Movie

With less than two weeks left for the premiere of this highly anticipated sequel, the social media handles are rather busy maintaining the buzz. After the unprecedented success of the drama version, Akaso Eiji and Machida Keita will be returning to reprise their characters roles of Adachi Kiyoshi and Kurosawa Yuichi in its movie version. While the excitement surrounding this movie is undeniable, fans are increasingly worried about the online screening. The major glitch with Japanese movies is that it takes a long time before they are legally available on any international platform and most fans have to rely on fan subbed videos. This might be feasible for small projects, but with the kind of popularity that the Cherry Magic franchise enjoys; we are fervently hoping that the production house banks on this opportunity, so that avid fans aren’t left disappointed.

Synopsis-

The film will continue the story from the drama of the same name. How will Adachi and Kurosawa deal with their relationship now that Adachi received an order to be transferred ?

☆ We have the character profiles of Akaso Eiji and Machida Keita alongside supporting cast Asaka Kodai, Goto Yutaro, Kusakawa Takuya and Sato Ryo who will be reprising their roles as well.

Official Trailer-

Sing in Love

Adapted from the manga “Koi Kogare Utae” (恋い焦れ歌え~R.I.P.~) by Miso, Sing in Love is a psychological thriller hinging on sensitive subjects like sexual assault and rape. Starring Inaba Yu and Endo Kenshin in the titular roles of Kiritani Jin and Kai, the movie promises to be a delicate yet sensual affair based on the age-gap trope. Will this film be perceptive enough to handle this topic in the same way as Sei No Gekiyaku/Dangerous Drugs of Sex did? That’s yet to be seen, but Sing in Love is certainly the first BL movie which includes rap as one of its main elements. It will be interesting to watch a thriller percolate and steep via music. The movie will premiere in local theaters on 27th May, 2022 (international platform is still unannounced).

Synopsis

Jin is a temporary elementary school teacher on his way to a permanent position when a traumatic event plunged him into a terrifying deep darkness. Three months later, a mysterious man named Kai provokes Jin’s memories and feelings regarding the past experience through rapping. Why is Kai obsessed with Jin? How does Jin confront his own “darkness”? Conflicts and battles for men who have been deeply injured inspire healing. And does true love exist on the other side? Struggling, suffering, we will live.
